Friday 25th March: - Practice Day
Warbird, WWI, Civil and Military aircraft conduct practice displays in preparation for the following two day's events.
Saturday 26th March and Sunday 27th March: Airshow days

Aircraft for Sale - Ever wanted to get into flying? Now is your chance, from microlights to replicas, to jets and helicopters for sale at Warbirds. For those already in aviation, come and purchase your next aircraft or see the latest version......
Many keen aviators will have their aircraft on display.... from Tiger Moths to Pitts Special to jets like L29s.....
Warhorses at Wanaka
Warhorses, military vehicles and lively re-enactments of battles will give you the opportunity to see what happened at these skirmishes from two World Wars in life-like situations. Chat with those who have restored vehicles into working examples and visit mess tents and see the tanks and half-tracks in action, both at their display and on the runway at lunchtime.
At the Airshow all types of sport aircraft will be included in the ground display. From microlights to RVs, scale Warbird replicas, RANS, gyrocopters and more....
One Speights Bar in the main Food area and one in the Silver Pass area are also available to quench your thirst.
Aviation Trade Stands - in the four trade marquees near the Children's area - for aviators, the aviation industry and related trades to showcase products and services to the public. From aviation books, radios, flight helmets, flight training and much more... this is the place to see what is available.
Market Stalls - a great shopping opportunity for all the family with a wide range of goods including jewellery, bags, riding boots and clothing. In several marquees on the flightline, shop 'til you drop!
2016 Merchandise will be available at the Airshow in either the main marquee near the Gold Pass area or in the Silver Pass area. Two ATMs will be available beside the main merchandise marquee.

Private Aircraft are welcomed at the Airshow. If you require any information on flying in please read the NOTAMs and AIP supplement or contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Your aircraft park is at the end of runway 11 - Follow Me will lead you there. Walk 300m to the entrance where you can purchase tickets for the Airshow (note premium prices for Gate Sales).
Private Helicopters can drop off individuals by the hangar just inside Gate 3. A volunteer will be there to buy tickets from if you haven’t already purchased. This is a drop off area only and helicopters must then move to the Private Aircraft Parking area next to Car Park A on airshow days. You can walk through Car Park A and purchase a ticket at the airshow gate.
Private aircraft must arrive before 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday. You may leave after 4.30 – 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Private jets Tarmac parking is available for jets however you must notify us on 64 3 443 8619 to ensure we have room.
