"It was great in terms of sales / profit and the event itself was well run - the attendees were all relaxed and happy and the volunteers / staff made the event run smoothly from our point of view. We'll be back in 2020 :-)"
Trade stand registration process:
For all trade stands there is an Application Information document you must read prior to registering via the online form. Once registered you will receive an email confirming your application submission. Warbirds will then come back to you within two weeks to confirm your acceptance and will send a deposit invoice. Once you have paid the deposit your stand is confirmed.
Trade exhibitors - you will either be situated in large marquees on the flightline (with a booth with display boards already set up) or you may set up your own marquee outside.
You will be promoting to a captive, already qualified aviation audience of around 55,000, over the three days of the Airshow.
Around 50 food and beverage stalls will feature the best of the region, along with local wines and our Wanaka Craft Beer suppliers. Coffee stalls will be scattered throughout the food areas. Stalls will be situated at the Airport Main gate, main Food Stall area and the Silver Pass area.
Exhibitors will sell and promote aviation related products - from pilot's helmets, headsets to tracking systems.
Others will sell under the Market stands - from handbags and clothing to model aircraft and hot tubs.
Aviation training organisations will promote their learn to fly, advanced training and trial flight programmes.
There is something for everyone here - the family wanting to shop, the aviation enthusiast wishing for a momento of the Airshow and the hard core aviator.
Exhibitors will be displaying the latest new aircraft from manufacturers - both fixed wing and rotary.
Have you ever thought of owning your own aircraft? Come and see what is on display and have a ride before or after the Airshow.
Situated just behind the Gold Pass area, companies wishing to sell new or used aircraft at Warbirds Over Wanaka please:

Wanaka is famous for its stationary engines which line the main entrance way. This has been a favourite ground display for many as they enter the Airshow. Air and water pumps, turbine jets and compressors often make up part of this display. We welcome you to apply to bring your engines to display:
