Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow 2016 will once again feature many exciting air and ground events. Join us to celebrate classic aircraft and warbirds, as well as modern jets, sport aircraft and many more aviation attractions. On the ground we bring you some new displays of military vehicles, vintage trucks, aviation trade stands, market stalls and wonderful food and beverages.
Rides Day on Monday 28th March will provide you with opportunities to have a flight in a Warbird, DC3, Catalina or microlight. Stay an extra night.... or more if you wish to start training to be a pilot!

Ticket sales are available at the Gates all airshow days but they attract a premium.
Lakeside event on Friday 25th March at 4.30pm. See different types of amphibious aircraft, including the Catalina and others as they entertain over beautiful Lake Wanaka.
On Monday 28th March stay for Rides Day (no entry fee) and see what it is like to ride in the Catalina, warbird, helicopter, microlight, DC3, Spiftire, Kittyhawk and jets. Book flights directly with the operators from here.

Your aircraft park is at the end of runway 11 - Follow Me will lead you there. Walk 400m to the entrance where you can purchase tickets for the Airshow (note premium prices for Gate sales).
