Please note that WOW does not supply accommodation - instead we work with Lake Wanaka Tourism and the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre who will assist you in finding hotels, motels, backpackers, houses, campgrounds and bed and breakfasts in Wanaka and its environs.
For the complete Wanaka accommodation list and current availability visit the official Lake Wanaka website - your one-stop shop for all accommodation, activities and transport needs and info for visitors travelling to other towns/cities.
Another accommodation option is renting one of the many holiday homes in Wanaka. Contact Wanaka holiday home providers or real estate companies.
If you are unable to find suitable accommodation in Wanaka, you may wish to consider options in Queenstown. Contact the Queenstown i-SITE on 03 442 4100 or email: email@example.com
If you become or are members of the NZ Motorhome and Caravan Assn you can park on the terrace overlooking the airshow – you must be self-contained and you must stay there for the 3 days of the airshow (shuttles from the Airport can take you to/from Wanaka).
Alan will also sell you three day passes for the Airshow.
Please contact Alan Jones on 0274 797729 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The camping grounds are filling fast, however they all still have varying availability for powered and non-powered sites. Please contact them directly to discuss your needs and make a booking:
